Costa creure que algú que valora la seva dignitat pugui llegir i acceptar –en aquest ordre– la llicència del darrer sistema [operatiu?] de Microsoft.

Si trobau qualque cosa molesta al Windows Vista perquè us limita, teniu prohibit trobar-hi cap solució. La llicència ho diu ben clar:

you may not work around any technical limitations in the software

Microsoft pot qualificar d’indesitjable qualsevol programa del vostre ordinador i eliminar-lo. Sense contemplacions. També ho diu la llicència:

Vista also incorporates Windows Defender, an anti-virus program that actively scans computers for “spyware, adware, and other potentially unwanted software.” The agreement does not define any of these terms, leaving it to Microsoft to determine what constitutes unwanted software.

Once operational, the agreement warns that Windows Defender will, by default, automatically remove software rated “high” or “severe,” even though that may result in other software ceasing to work or mistakenly result in the removal of software that is not unwanted.

Si us plau, recordau tot això quan dubteu si és o no excessiu el qualificatiu «programari privatiu» pel Windows.
